My professor assigned this paper as a reflection of our elementary school years thinking back on our cognitive abilities during those times. We were to discuss our favorite subjects and our least favorite subjects and the grades we received in those subjects.
Which were your favourite subjects? In which other activities did you participate? How was your behaviour as a student? What were your interests? What was the contribution of your teachers in shaping your character and personably?
For me sweet are the memories of the school-days. Deep are the impressions of school-life and unforgettable are the experiences in schooldays.
On occasions the whole chart of memorable moments in school-life moves in front of my eyes. I spent first ten years of my childhood in a small and beautiful village.
My grandfather enrolled my name in the village Primary School when I was five. A school was a totally new concept for me. On its first day I was afraid. My heart was throbbing. But when I found the school to be nice I liked it. Our teacher was very kind and loving to us.
He used to tell us stories and teach through them. There my education began. Meanwhile my father got a job in the city. I started going the high school. I come from a rural background.
So I became a laughing stock for some days at the beginning. But I proved my capacities within some days and caught attention of my teachers. I used to attend the school regularly. I used to study all the subjects equally. But mathematics was my favourite subject.
I used to score highest marks in it and never missed my top ranks. I developed liking in sports. I participated in football matches. I was the backbone of the team.
I was also interested in elocution and took part in its competitions. I won many shields and trophies. I brought laurels to my highschool.
I was the favourite student of my teachers and the Principal. When I passed the S.
It was a very emotional day and the greatest reward for me. I was a successful student. The credit of it goes to all of my teachers. I got very good teachers throughout my school life.
They were devoted teachers and- the worshipers of good values. They embedded in our mind the good and the virtues like hard work, honesty, courage helping and respecting the elders.
They parted their knowledge with us. They gave us good thoughts and broadened our outlook. They developed in us a habit of rational thinking. What I am today is a personality cut out and shaped by my teachers in my schooldays.I would just do anything to go back to my school days, sit in my classroom, play flames and tic tac toe with my friends, exchange juicy gossip on who has a crush on whom.
I'm sure there are a zillion other memories that we have about our childhood school. But Goldsboro is where most of my elementary school memories take place, so I forgive the bus.
My second elementary school was probably one of the few elementary schools that had a second floor. All of my school memories are bad memories, so much so that I've managed to mentally repress most of them.
Can't really think of any distinct experiences to share right now. I'm so glad I finished secondary school yesterday.
I found my points first then built my essay around those memories. Because this was a self reflection, I had no difficulty determining the direction of my paper. During elementary school around the age of 7 or 8, my cognitive abilities were sky-rocketing.
School, we all have some good and some bad memories of it.
It is funny how memories are all that are left of somethings. School is an integral part of our lives. Whatever we have achieved, it is because we had a good schooling. We should always be grateful for that.
School also gives us memories. It is very pleasant to recollect my school days. I was admitted to class III. I passed long eight years in the same school.
This long period was associated with pleasant memories of various kinds. Related Articles: Essay on your School life.
